On their new four-track EP A PIECE OF THE MOON, Dokkodo Sounds and Marija Clara invites the listener to join them on an epic journey where all worries and fears are abandoned as they traverse an impossible dream and set out to claim their very own piece of the moon.

Haunting and mystical throughout, the EP opens with the title track where Thomas Trueman's celestial sounds synths and bass-heavy beats introduce Marija's dreamy voice as she details her desires to leave behind the daily pressures of her life as she embarks on a momentous odyssey.

This lyrical theme continues on track two "Rain Light" where Clara sings of her longing for a place to hide whilst Trueman's production - emphasized by a sparse keyboard accompaniment - suggests that Clara's dream is agonizingly far from her grasp.

On the third track "In Your Eyes" Trueman creates a building soundscape that moves around with Clara's playful yet intimate vocals leaving the listener feeling like they've had a taste of a midsummer’s nights dream.

The EP concludes with "Visions" which displays Trueman's sophisticated production supporting Clara's ethereal voice as she coaxes the listener into joining her in her newfound euphoric state whereby all that she has ever dreamed of has finally become a reality.

A Piece Of The Moon EP is out on the 2nd of June via DRRT Records and will be available on all digital platforms and accompanied by a beautiful intimate acoustic live set that was filmed in London.
